Things to Know Before You Buy

The Purchase Process

At Ski’s Truck & RV Sales, we want to make the purchase process as easy as possible for our customers. Whether you are a first-time camper or a seasoned camping veteran, there are bound to be questions. We can help!

The Search is On!

Customers typically research campers online and call us to find out if a specific unit is still available at our dealership. Our inventory changes daily. Please call us at 765-344-1111 so we can assist you with camper availability before you make the trip!

Our Inventory and Sales Team

Once you arrive at our nine-acre RV Center, our experienced sales team can show you the travel trailers, toy haulers, destination campers, and fifth wheels you are interested in. They will accompany you by golf cart to the campers you’d like to see and show you the features your family is interested in. If you’re searching for a motor home, we ask that you please call ahead 765-344-1111 to schedule a test drive.

The Purchase

Once you decide on a specific camper, we ask that you put a $500 non-refundable deposit down on the camper to designate it as “SOLD.” This begins the sales process. We provide you with a purchase agreement including your camper specifications, so you can take it to your bank for financing if needed. Or, if you would like to complete a secure loan application with Priority One, we can get you in touch with them.

Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Process

Once a deposit is placed on a camper, we pull it into our 14-bay Service Center and an experienced RV Technician prepares the unit for delivery. During this Pre-Delivery Inspection or PDI process, the Technician reviews the major components of the camper (i.e., refrigerator, AC, furnace, outdoor kitchen, tanks, etc.) to prepare for your demonstration and pickup. At Ski’s Truck & RV Sales, we feel the PDI provides you with the peace of mind that the camper has been inspected and is ready for delivery.

Camper Demo and Pickup

After you’ve placed a deposit on a unit and it has been prepared for delivery, we’ll call to schedule your camper demonstration and pickup. The process typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. During the demonstration and pickup, an RV Technician will review all the components of your camper with you. The technician will answer any questions you may have about your new camper so you are ready for your first trip. The final steps include completing the paperwork, paying for your camper and you’re ready to go camping!
